UP News: A serious accident has come to light in Meerut, UP, in which 10 people are reported to be injured. According to the information, a three-storey house suddenly collapsed near lane number 6 in Zakir Colony, Meerut. In this incident, eight to ten people are feared to be buried under the debris of the house. Rescue work is being carried out rapidly by the local administration and relief agencies, but due to increasing darkness and light rain, relief work is being difficult.After getting information about the incident, the District Magistrate and other top officials have reached the spot. Teams of other departments including the fire department are also engaged in relief and rescue work. However, due to the narrow streets around the house, large machines are not able to reach the relief work effectively, causing more problems in the work. The gathering of local people has also increased, which is hampering the relief work.Intervention of Chief Minister Yogi AdityanathChief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken immediate cognizance of this accident and has given instructions to take the injured persons to the hospital. He ordered the district administration officials to expedite the relief work and wished the injured a speedy recovery. CM Yogi has also personally monitored the situation, which makes it clear that the highest level of vigilance is being maintained on this issue.Status of the incident and relief workThe owner of the house is Nafo Alauddin, and a dairy was running under the house. Meerut Division Commissioner Selva Kumari said, "Eight to ten people are buried under the building collapse in Zakir Colony. Police and fire officials are carrying out rescue operations, and Army, NDRF, and SDRF teams have also been informed."Meerut ADG DK Thakur said that eight people are suspected to be buried in the accident. SDRF teams have been called from Amroha and Saharanpur, and the Chief Minister himself is monitoring the relief and rescue work.In this development, it is hoped that the relief work will be completed soon and all the affected people will be evacuated safely.
