CM Yogi News: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given the gift of relief and enthusiasm to the farmers in the land acquisition process for the third phase of Noida International Airport. The Chief Minister met the farmers of Jewar area at his residence in Lucknow on Friday. During this, he announced to increase the compensation to the farmers from ₹ 3100 per square meter to ₹ 4300 per square meter. Also, he talked about the arrangement of interest and rehabilitation, employment, and employment as per the rules.Farmers thank the Chief MinisterHappy with the announcement of Yogi Adityanath, the farmers greeted the Chief Minister with slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram'. He described this decision as historic and his 'desired wish'. On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that in April 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this largest airport in Asia.Features of the third phase and relief for farmersIn the third phase of land acquisition, the Chief Minister directed the CEO of YIDA (Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority) to ensure quick resolution of all the pending problems of the farmers. This will provide fair compensation and rehabilitation to the affected farmers for their land.Progress and plans of Noida International AirportNoida International Airport, Jewar, will be Asia's largest and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Its first phase is targeted to be completed by 2024-25. In this phase, the airport will start operating with an annual capacity of 12 million passengers. By 2031, this capacity will be expanded to 30 million and two runways.Phase-wise development process of the airportFirst phase (2024-25): One runway, 12 million passenger capacity.Second phase (2031): Two runways, 30 million passenger capacity.Third and fourth phase: Three additional runways, increasing the total capacity to 295 million passengers per year.Industrial and employment opportunitiesThe development of the airport will not only be a transport hub but will prove to be a boon for industrial, business and tourism. The construction of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhauling) facilities in 40 acres of land will boost the global aviation industry. This will create thousands of jobs and boost manufacturing and exports.Revolutionary change in connectivityThe airport is being connected to Yamuna Expressway, Eastern Peripheral Road, and Delhi-Varanasi High Speed Rail. The proposed RRTS rail project will make the journey from Delhi to Noida Airport a mere 21 minutes.Unprecedented contribution of farmersThe Chief Minister especially praised the cooperation and compromise approach of the farmers. So far, 3300 acres of land has been acquired without any dispute, which shows the positive role of farmers in development work.Noida International Airport: Golden Future of Uttar PradeshThis project will prove to be a milestone not only for Uttar Pradesh but for the whole of India. Through this, there will be a comprehensive improvement in the economy, employment, and transport system of the state.
