CM Yogi Adityanath: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing attack on Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, saying that those who have Aurangzeb as their ideals will behave in the same way. In an interview to news agency ANI, he discussed various issues and defended his government's policies. Yogi Adityanath claimed that the BJP is striving for victory in Uttar Pradesh for the third time and an example of commitment to the legacy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi can be seen in Ayodhya.

Sarcasm on Akhilesh Yadav

CM Yogi attacked Akhilesh Yadav and said that those who consider Babur and Aurangzeb as their ideals will also act in the same way. He alleged that Samajwadi Party leaders have glorified Aurangzeb from Mumbai to Lucknow, while the BJP is committed to protecting the unity and integrity of the country by following the ideals of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Muslims are the safest in UP

Yogi Adityanath said that all citizens are safe in Uttar Pradesh, whether they are Hindus or Muslims. He claimed that the Muslim community is the safest in the state and his government treats all religions equally.

Search for pilgrimage sites

CM Yogi also said that his government is searching for all pilgrimage sites and temples and will restore them. He said that all religious places will be respected under the orders of the judiciary.

Statement on Mathura

On the controversy related to Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura, he said that his government is working within the ambit of the law, otherwise a lot could have happened there. He said that the protection and revival of all religious places in Uttar Pradesh is the priority of the government.

Views on colors and festivals

On the controversies over Holi and other Hindu festivals, CM Yogi said that if someone avoids color, then color should not be applied forcefully. But even if color is applied, it should not be made a big issue. He said that people of all communities in Uttar Pradesh celebrate festivals together.

Maha Kumbh and BJP's policies

CM Yogi described Maha Kumbh as a heritage of humanity and said that it was not a program of any particular party, but it was a spiritual event for the entire humanity. He said that the Modi government has given it global recognition.

No glorification of invaders

Referring to Salar Masood Ghazi, CM Yogi said that foreign invaders should not be glorified. He said that these invaders had attacked the culture and civilization of India, and praising their bravery would be an insult to the Indian faith.

Attack on Congress

Yogi Adityanath also targeted the Congress and said that religion-based reservation by the Karnataka government is an insult to the Constitution. He said that the history of the Congress party is full of appeasement politics and the BJP has taken many big steps to end it.

Strict action against rioters

CM Yogi said that his government is taking strict action against the rioters and such elements will be forced to walk on their knees. He said that maintaining law and order in Uttar Pradesh is his top priority.
