India-Pakistan Relations: India has strongly reprimanded Pakistan at the meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva, Switzerland. When Pakistan once again raised the issue of Kashmir, India's representative Kshitij Tyagi took a tough stand and made it clear that Jammu and Kashmir is and will remain an integral part of India.India's strong response to spreading liesAt the seventh meeting of the 58th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, India's representative Kshitij Tyagi categorically rejected the baseless and malicious claims made by Pakistan. He said that it is very unfortunate that the leaders and representatives of Pakistan are spreading lies about Kashmir and violating international rules. He also reiterated that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are inseparable parts of India.Unprecedented progress in Jammu and KashmirResponding to Pakistan, India highlighted the political, social and economic progress made in Jammu and Kashmir in recent years. Kshitij Tyagi said that due to the policies and efforts of the government, there has been unprecedented development in the region. The situation in the region, which has been affected by Pakistan-sponsored terrorism for decades, is now becoming normal and people are experiencing peace and stability.Pakistan needs to focus on its internal affairsIndia's representative gave a stern warning to Pakistan and said that instead of focusing on India, it should focus on solving the problems of its country. He said that violation of human rights, atrocities on minorities and collapse of democratic values have become common in Pakistan. Not only this, Pakistan also supports terrorists who have been banned by the United Nations.'Pakistan needs to learn'India reprimanded Pakistan and said that it is unfortunate that the precious time of the UNHRC is being wasted by a failed nation, which itself is struggling with instability and mismanagement. India stressed that it is focusing on democracy, development and protection of the rights of its citizens, which are values from which Pakistan needs to learn.It is noteworthy that Pakistan's representative at the United Nations Azam Nazir Tarar had accused Pakistan of violating human rights in Kashmir, to which India gave a strong response. India made it clear that Pakistan needs to understand the difference between its words and actions and it should focus on its domestic issues instead of interfering in India's internal affairs.
