PM Modi Ukraine Tour: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Ukraine marks a turning point in world politics. The visit comes at a time when Ukraine has crossed the international border and established control in Russia's Kursk region, further intensifying the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Hopes are being expressed all over the world for Modi's visit.

The US White House has described the visit as a positive step towards ending the conflict. Prime Minister Modi arrived in Ukraine by train on Friday and became the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Ukraine since bilateral relations were established in 1992.

US National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby said that India is a strong partner of the US and any country that proves helpful in ending the conflict in Ukraine will be welcomed. Kirby also made it clear that the resolution of the Ukraine conflict is possible only through dialogue and Kiev will have to take steps in this direction.

Prime Minister Modi said during his meeting with President Zelensky that the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine is possible only through dialogue. He reiterated India's pro-peace approach and said that India is ready to play an active role in the direction of peace and progress. During this, India and Ukraine also signed four important agreements.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described Modi's visit as historic and said that India can play an important role in global diplomatic efforts. Accepting the invitation to visit India, he said that India should support Ukraine, and not try to balance between the US and Russia.

Trying to end the war

John Kirby said that for any talks on the Ukraine conflict, Kiev will have to come to the discussion table. If there is any other country that is willing to be helpful in trying to end the war in Ukraine, we welcome it. But by being helpful we mean that that country has to engage in dialogue.

Talks to resolve Ukraine conflict

Prime Minister Narendra Modi told President Zelensky during his bilateral meeting that the only solution to the conflict in Ukraine is dialogue. He said that India has never been neutral, we have always been in favor of peace. He further said that India is ready to play an active role in the path of peace and progress. India and Ukraine also signed four agreements during PM Modi's visit.

Ukrainian President Zelensky said that India can play an important role in global diplomatic efforts to end the war between his country and Russia. He said that he is looking forward to visiting India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a visit to Ukraine, invited Zelensky to visit India during bilateral talks here, after which he made this remark. Addressing Indian media persons after the bilateral talks, Zelensky said that Modi's visit is historic. He said that India needs to support Ukraine and not try to balance between the US and Russia.
