After gangster Vikas Dubey was killed as he tried to escape police custody, actress Taapsee Pannu tweeted, "Wow! We did not expect this at all...And then they say our Bollywood stories are far from reality." The car carrying Dubey overturned while he was being brought back from Madhya Pradesh. Dubey snatched a pistol after the vehicle overturned, police said.

Bollywood Desk: Gangster Vikas Dubey was shot dead in an encounter with police on Friday after he tried to escape a road accident while being taken to Kanpur. According to police, Dubey snatched a weapon from one of the policemen after the accident, and then in the exchange of fire, he was killed. Soon after, reactions from all the quarters flooded the internet. 

Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu, who quite fiercely speaks her mind, took a jibe on this piece of news and wrote on Twitter, 'Wow! We did not expect this at all !!!! And then they say our Bollywood stories are far from reality'.For the unversed, Vikas Dubey was accused of setting up a cold-blooded ambush that left eight policemen dead in Kanpur. He was arrested by the Madhya Pradesh police on 9 July from the famous Mahakal temple in Ujjain.
