IPL 2025 New Rules: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will start from March 22, and the first match of this season will be played between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). To increase the thrill of the tournament, all the teams have started their preparations in full swing. Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has implemented new rules for the players and teams, so that this time the players will not get exemption like before.

BCCI tightened the rules

According to a report by Cricbuzz, the BCCI has imposed strict rules regarding the presence of family members around the PMOA (Player and Match Officials Area) before and during the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches. Apart from this, it has been made mandatory for the players to travel by team bus, which was also implemented for Team India a few days ago.

Travel in team bus mandatory

As per the new rules, players will have to come in the team bus for practice and match. Teams can travel in two groups, but individual travel will not be allowed.

According to a Cricbuzz report, a meeting was recently held with all the team managers regarding this change, in which the rules were informed. After this meeting held on February 18, an official mail was sent to all the franchises in this regard.

New restrictions for family members

Under the new rules, family members and friends of the players will no longer be able to enter the dressing room even during practice.

Players' families were already not allowed to enter the dressing room on match days, but now this restriction will also apply to practice sessions before and during the tournament. Only accredited staff will be allowed to enter the dressing room and the playing field.

Players' families will travel in separate vehicles

According to the new rules, family members of the players and their friends will travel in a separate vehicle and will be able to watch the team's practice from the hospitality area.

In addition, team support staff, such as throw-down specialists and net bowlers, will have to seek special permission from the BCCI to enter the dressing room. Once allowed, they will be able to go inside the dressing room and the field on non-match days.

IPL 2025 will be even more exciting

It is clear from these new rules implemented by the BCCI that this time steps have been taken to make the IPL more professional and disciplined. The purpose of this strictness is not only to ensure the safety of the players but also to maintain the fairness and discipline of the game.

These new rules in IPL 2025 will further improve the quality of the game and will also give a new experience to the fans. Now it will be interesting to see how the teams maintain their performance amid this strictness and which team wins the title of this season.
