This matter started only after this complaint. Explain that both the leaders had commented about PM Modi's degree during a press conference and on Twitter. The university claimed that the comments were 'derogatory' and 'damaging' the reputation of the institution. Will approach the High CourtHowever, the sessions court refused to grant interim relief to both the leaders, but posted the matter for further hearing. Kejriwal and Singh's legal counsel Punit Juneja said they would seek relief from the Gujarat High Court. The Metropolitan Court had summoned the AAP leaders under Section 500 of the IPC on the basis of prima facie evidence. The decision comes after the Gujarat High Court set aside the Chief Information Commissioner's order related to PM Modi's degree, which led to a defamation case being filed against Kejriwal and Sanjay Singh.
