Sources say that Champai Soren can submit his resignation to the Governor at 8 pm today. The meeting of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-led ruling coalition legislature party was held today at the residence of CM Champai Soren in Ranchi.

Got bail from the High Court on June 28

The court had reserved its decision on Soren's bail plea on June 13. Soren, the working president of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), was arrested by the ED on January 31 in connection with the investigation of the money laundering case. After the arrest, Hemant Soren was kept in Barsa Munda jail in Ranchi.
