Delhi's Arvind Kejriwal government has taken a big decision on arbitrariness about private schools. The government ordered Thursday that all private schools in the capital have to cut 15% in their fees. These orders will be applicable for last year's academic session i.e. 2020-21. It has also been said in the order of the government that if the schools have taken more than parents, they will have to return money or adjust to the coming yearArvind Kejriwal (Arvind Kejriwal) in Corona epidemic is relieved for parents. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia (Manish Sisodia) said that in the era of Corona, the parents are struggling with economic tightness, in such a time, 15% of the fees will be huge relief for them.For example, if one month's fees of school in 2020-21 have been Rs 3,000, then after 15% deduction, school parents can only take Rs 2,550.The government has also ordered that if a school has taken more than parents, then schools will have to return or adjust to the coming year. Apart from this, not paying out the outstanding fees due to the financial tightening of the school management parents, students will not stop by participating in any activity. These orders of the government will apply to all 460 private schools, who appealed to the High Court. All the rest of the schools have to follow the same order related to fees, which Delhi Government released on 18 April 2020 and 28 April 2020.The High Court had asked to cut 15%In fact, the Directorate of Delhi Government issued an order and prevented Delhi's private schools to recover annual and development fees from parents. After this, this matter reached Delhi High Court. The High Court said that private schools had given the exemption to recover annual and development fees in 2020-21.However, the court also said that even if private schools can recover annual and development fees, but they have to cut 15% in their fees. In his order, the court also cleared that the school is free to take full fees in the current academic session (2021-22).
