Security forces have arrested six suspected terrorists including two active terrorists and three 'hybrid terrorists' in three camps in Kashmir. Two active terrorists belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) have been arrested from Baramulla district, a police spokesman said.

Jammu: Security forces have arrested six suspected terrorists including two active terrorists and three 'hybrid terrorists' in three camps in Kashmir. Two active terrorists belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) have been arrested from Baramulla district, a police spokesman said.

The arrested Irshad Ahmed Mir and Zahid Bashir are declared terrorists and are residents of Nehalpora in Pattan area. Incriminating material, two Chinese pistols, 18 live bullets and two magazines have been recovered from them.

Two other 'hybrid terrorists' belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba were arrested at a post jointly set up by police, Central Reserve Police Force and Army at Gurseer in Sopore area of ​​Baramulla district, officials said.

'Terrorists were waiting to attack outside laborers'

The spokesperson claimed that Shopian resident Faizan Ahmed Paul and Pulwama resident Muzmil Rashid Mir were looking for an opportunity to attack civilians including security forces as well as outside labourers. He said that two pistols, two magazines and five pistol rounds were recovered from them.

The spokesman said that a hybrid terrorist identified as Mudabir Ejaz and his associate Syed Muntaha have been arrested from Budgam district.
