UP Election 2022 / BJP candidate Dayashankar Singh's convoy attacked, vehicle and driver caught, accused of conspiracy to murder

The convoy of BJP candidate and state vice-president Dayashankar Singh from the city assembly of Ballia district was attacked at around 12.30 pm in Akhar of Dubahar police station area. The vehicle of BJP leader Tunji Pathak, who was accompanying him in the attack, was damaged. The attackers fled when the security personnel took over. During this, a vehicle registered in Lucknow and its driver were apprehended.

The attackers fled when the security personnel took over. During this, a vehicle registered in Lucknow and its driver were apprehended. The seized vehicle belongs to the convoy of Narad Rai, the candidate contesting from the SP from the Nagar Vidhan Sabha and is registered in Lucknow.

Dayashankar Singh alleged that the manner in which Krishnanand Rai was murdered. In the same way a conspiracy has been hatched to kill me. I have Y category security with me and there are private security guards also. Because of this the attackers fled. The candidate who has the vehicle is related to Mukhtar Ansari.

Mukhtar Ansari could also be behind this conspiracy. At present, the arrested vehicle and its driver have been handed over to the police. The police is investigating the matter. CO City Bhushan Verma told that the vehicle has been attacked, FIR has been registered. The case is being investigated.
