Gujarat has got a new Chief Minister. BJP's legislature party meeting was held in Gandhinagar today at 3 pm. All the BJP MLAs reached the Kamalam office in Gandhinagar. Gujarat State President CR Patil, Executive CM Vijay Rupani, Deputy CM Nitin Patel, Central Supervisors Narendra Singh Tomar, Prahlad Joshi and Tarun Chugh were also present in the office. Now the Chief Minister of Gujarat will be Bhupendra Patel.

Who is Bhupendra Patel

Bhupendra Patel is an MLA from the Ghatlodia Legislative Assembly of Gujarat. Former Gujarat CM Anandiben Patel continued to win the election from this seat. Bhupendra Patel's full name is Bhupendra Bhai Rajnikant Patel. Earlier Bhupendra Patel was the chairman of Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA). Patel has also served as the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC).
