Jharkhand / BJP protest against room for Namaz in Jharkhand Assembly, JMM worker thrashed fiercely

Ranchi: Hundreds of BJP workers came out to gherao the assembly on Thursday in protest against the allotment of a separate room for Namaz in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. A worker of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha also reached there and started chanting Jai Kare of Hemant Sarkar. The black flag was also shown to the people of BJP. Meanwhile, BJP workers beat him fiercely with kicks and bribes.

The worker of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha told the media that the youth has come from Dhanbad and the BJP workers are staging a sit-in on the issue of unnecessary issues like unemployment, inflation. He will complain to the Hemant government about this assault. ADM Deepak Kumar Dubey, who was present there in this whole matter, has clearly said that action will be taken against those who have taken the law in their hands today.


A day before, on Wednesday too, there was a lot of ruckus here. Police lathi-charged BJP workers protesting the move to allot a special room for offering prayers inside the Jharkhand Assembly. Several BJP workers, including state unit chief Deepak Prakash, were reportedly injured. On Monday, BJP MLAs raised slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram', 'Har Har Mahadev' inside the Jharkhand Assembly in protest against the allotment of a room by the Speaker to offer Namaz during the assembly session.


In fact, on Friday, an order has been issued by the Speaker of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly to allot a room for Namaz. "Room number TW 348 is allotted as a prayer hall for offering prayers in the new assembly building," the order said. Controversy has started since this decision.
