Earlier on Friday, the representatives of the committee appealed to the people to maintain peace and harmony in the C Block area. During this, people of both the communities hugged each other and resolved that such incidents should not happen again. They talked openly about the mutual relationship and announced to celebrate the upcoming festivals together in the future.

In a press conference at Kushal Chowk, locals said they would take out a tricolor yatra in the area on Sunday to represent the brotherhood. During this, the representative of the Muslim community, Tabrez Khan said that we want to live in harmony with each other. They will ensure that such incidents do not happen again. During this, he also requested the Delhi Police to reduce the force and barricading.

Meanwhile, on behalf of the Hindu community, Resident Welfare Association President Indramani Tiwari said that this incident is really worrying. One should never believe in rumours. This is the first time communal clashes have taken place here. To avoid such incidents in future, it is very important to have brotherhood among themselves.

During this, DCP (North West) Usha Rangnani appealed to the people to maintain peace and said that there should be a peaceful existence between the two communities. Friday prayers offered amidst tight security

In Jahangirpuri, Friday prayers were offered in the mosque amid tight security. Police personnel were stationed everywhere in the riot-affected C block. Before the prayers, Special Commissioner of Police Deependra Pathak, accompanied by police officers and heavy police force of the area, marched in the street behind the mosque. On the other hand, due to the closure of the road leading to Kushal Chowk, the devotees offered prayers inside the mosque. Due to paucity of space in the mosque, all the residents of the area could not offer Namaz together.
