In a social media message, it is said that during periods, the antibodies of women are very low. The reasoning behind this is that the first dose of the vaccine reduces immunity. However, after vaccination, it gradually increases. So if you take the vaccine during the period, then the risk of infection will be high. Know what expert doctors say about this.

Professor and obstetrician at Sarojini Naidu Medical College, Agra. Dr. Nidhi Gupta says that this is just a myth. The menstrual cycle is a common natural process in women. During this period, immunity is not reduced in any way, no such study has been revealed so far. So one should not get serious about this myth.

Dr. Nidhi says that women should avoid taking the vaccine during pregnancy as no guidelines from the Government of India have come up so far. At the same time, lactating mothers i.e. women who are breastfeeding or women undergoing periods can take the vaccine at any time. If your vaccine slot is reached, do not refuse it on the basis of period.

The government has also issued an explanation regarding this myth. PIB issued a statement saying that the social media messages that said that girls and women should not take the vaccine five days before and five days after the period, PIB said that it is fake. Do not believe this rumor.

It is also said that the dates of periods are changing in many women after corona infection. But, doctors say that no study has been revealed so far. In addition, the body's resistance decreases after corona infection. Some people also have lung problems. Kovid-19 reduces immunity, so there is a possibility that the reproductive system will be affected.

Women should keep these things in mind-

Eat nutritious things in food and do regular exercise

Give sufficient rest to the body after recovering from corona disease.

Apart from this, get enough sleep and drink plenty of water.

If undergoing pregnancy, keep yourself isolated at home.
