Delhi / CM Kejriwal honored 64 people who did excellent work, said - given security and equal opportunities to women

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal honored 64 people with awards on the occasion of International Women's Day. All of them are working for the interests of the women of the country and are making India proud. Kejriwal said that the Delhi government has given security and equal opportunities to women. Delhi Commission for Women is also doing a better job for this.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal honored 64 people with awards on the occasion of International Women's Day. The program was organized by the Delhi Commission for Women, in which besides the Chief Minister, Delhi Commission for Women Chairperson Swati Maliwal, Delhi Cabinet Minister Gopal Rai, Kailash Gehlot, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel, MLA Dilip Pandey, Canada High Commissioner of Police Cameroon Mike, DG BRO Lt Gen Rajeev Choudhary, VSM and Air Marshal K Anantharaman were prominently present.

Defense, sports, social institutions and common citizens were honored for their splendid work. Namita Taupo and Rajani Etimarpu, members of the Indian hockey team that dominated the Tokyo Olympics, Rekha Devi, wife of Shaan Deepak Singh of Bihar Regiment, who was martyred in the Galwan Valley, Commander Anchal Sharma, leading the Navy contingent on the 73rd Republic Day, Delhi Apart from Police's Dabang Lady Head Constable Jyoti Devi, many other women associated with defense and other fields were honored. Several elderly women were rewarded for their spirit, including 81-year-old Ram Beti and 89-year-old Shantabai Devi.
