Concerned over the aging population and slow pace of population growth, China has taken a major and important decision. Now the Chinese government has announced to relax the rules of family planning. According to the decision taken on Monday, now a couple in China will be able to have three children. Earlier, only two children were allowed to be born in China.Recently, the population figures of China were revealed, which revealed that a large section of the population in China is growing rapidly. In such a situation, China had to take this step in view of future concerns.According to Chinese media, the new policy has received the approval of Chinese President Xi Jinping. That is, the two-child policy that has been in place for decades has now been abolished in China.Actually, recently China released its population figures. Accordingly, China had the lowest average birth rate in the last decade. The main reason for this was attributed to China's two-child policy.
According to the data, between 2010 and 2020 the population growth rate in China was 0.53%. Whereas between 2000 and 2010 this pace was at 0.57%. That is, in the last two decades, the pace of population growth in China has decreased. Not only this, the figures said that in the year 2020, only 12 million children were born in China, while in 2016 this figure was 18 million. That is, after 1960, the number of children born in China also reached the lowest.China is still the most populous country in the world and after that, India comes in number. In the 1970s, the One Child Policy was introduced in some areas of China to overcome the increasing pace of population. Then the couple was allowed to have only one child, later when this rule spread across the country, it had the opposite effect. The pace of childbirth started decreasing in China. In 2009, after a long time, China changed the One Child Policy and gave the identified people the freedom to have two children. Only two children, who were the only children of their parents, could do the couple. By 2014, this policy was also implemented all over China. Now in 2021, China has changed its policy once again and has allowed a couple to have three children.
