Amit Shah News: The Government of India is coming up with a new system 'Bharatpol' to catch wanted criminals hiding abroad. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate 'Bharatpol' at Bharat Mandapam on Tuesday at 10:30 am. This is a state-of-the-art and highly necessary step, which aims to strengthen India's security at the international level. This portal has been developed by the Indian central investigation agency CBI and is modeled on the lines of Interpol.

Under Bharatpol, all central investigation agencies like CBI, ED, NIA and police of various states will be linked together, which will improve coordination and mutual cooperation. Through this portal, the process of locating and catching wanted criminals will be made faster and effective.

Importance and benefits of Bharatpol

The biggest advantage of Bharatpol will be that it will make it easier to reach criminals, especially those who are involved in terrorist activities, serious crimes, drug trade, and cyber crime. This portal will work to directly connect all the central agencies and police of various states, which will lead to better coordination among themselves. Apart from this, all the agencies will be able to share information without any hindrance, which will play an important role in catching the criminals.

How were criminals caught till now?

However, even today there are many difficulties in the process of catching criminals. Wanted criminals often flee abroad after committing a crime, be it a terrorist activity, cyber crime, or incidents like bank fraud. Many times these criminals carry out incidents like gang war in India from abroad. For example, criminals like gangster Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara carry out their gang war in India from Canada and America. Khalistani elements also carry out crimes in India in a similar way.

Till now, when an agency had to bring back a wanted criminal to catch him, they used to contact the CBI. The CBI had to follow the process of sending mail or letter for extradition, but there was a risk of information leaking in this.

Future of Bharatpol

Bharatpol will make this process more accurate and faster. Now the exchange of information between agencies will be faster and due to coordination, it will be easier than ever to catch criminals. This portal will not only help in catching wanted criminals but will also give a new dimension to the security system of India.

This initiative will also accelerate the efforts of the Government of India to catch wanted criminals hiding outside the country, and it will send a strong message to the criminals that no matter where they hide, they will not find any way to escape the law.
