Beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana will get free cylinders. Chief Minister Yogi has given security instructions in view of the festivals.

CM Yogi Diwali Gift: Diwali festival is near, and on this occasion all the state governments are giving special gifts to their employees and the people of the state. Some states are making gas cylinders free, while some are announcing 24-hour electricity. This time there is special good news for the people of Uttar Pradesh as well. While Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had earlier announced bonuses for government employees, now he has also given a big Diwali gift to the people of the state. From October 28 to November 15, there will be no power cut in Uttar Pradesh even for a minute. During this time, 24-hour electricity will be available in the entire state, and the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme will get LPG cylinders for free.

Special preparations before Diwali

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting in the capital Lucknow on Thursday, in which the topic of peace and security during Diwali and upcoming festivals was discussed. Important guidelines were given to the officials in this meeting, so that there is no problem during the festivals. The Chief Minister said that the last few festivals like Rakshabandhan, Janmashtami, Durga Puja, Dussehra and Moharram have been celebrated peacefully, and this was possible due to better teamwork and public cooperation.

Instructions to police and administration to remain alert

CM Yogi directed the police and administration to remain alert 24x7 keeping in mind the upcoming festivals like Dhanteras, Ayodhya Deepotsav, Diwali, Govardhan Puja, Bhai Dooj, Devutthaan Ekadashi, Varanasi Dev Diwali and Chhath Mahaparva. He said that vigilance is necessary in this sensitive time to maintain peace and good governance in the state. Apart from this, special preparations will also have to be made for religious events like Panchkosi and 14 Kosi Parikrama, Kartik Purnima Snan etc. in Ayodhya.

24-hour power supply for 19 days

The Chief Minister gave clear instructions to the Electricity Department to ensure 24-hour power supply without any cut in the entire state from October 28 to November 15. Whether it is a rural area or an urban area, electricity should be available everywhere without any interruption. The CM has ordered the Power Corporation to make all the necessary preparations in this regard, so that no technical problem is faced. Under this order, the people of UP will continue to get electricity for the next 19 days, so that their Diwali celebration can be completed without any hindrance.

Free cylinder to the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana

Apart from this, Chief Minister Yogi ordered to arrange free LPG cylinders before Diwali for the beneficiaries of 'Ujjwala Yojana'. He directed the officials that there should not be any delay in this and complete the work expeditiously by meeting the agencies.

Improvement in transport facilities

The Chief Minister also said that the travel of people increases during festivals, so the number of buses should be increased on rural routes. Also, buses in poor condition should not be allowed to run on the roads, so that the traffic system remains smooth.

With these instructions and schemes of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the people of the state are going to get a great Diwali experience. With the improvement in the facilities of electricity, cooking gas and transportation, people will be able to celebrate their festival without any hassle.
