Meteorological Department issued alert

Let us tell you that the Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for today i.e. 7th July. In such a situation, in view of the heavy rain alert issued by the Meteorological Department, the administration has issued these instructions keeping in mind the safety of the passengers. The administration has advised not to travel for today. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in Kumaon division and an orange alert regarding rain in Garhwal division. Let us tell you that due to the rains in the past few days, the water level of the state's Madanki, Pindar, Alaknanda and Ganga and other rivers is continuously increasing.

Advice given to travelers

Actually, every year lakhs of devotees go on Chardham Yatra. For this, devotees from every corner of the country travel thousands of kilometers to reach here. At the same time, many accidents have been seen due to heavy rains in Uttarakhand. Many roads have also been closed due to landslides caused by heavy rains. At the same time, instructions are also being given to the people by the administration. Due to rain, people are being instructed not to go near rivers and drains. Apart from this, instructions have also been given not to travel unnecessarily.
