Chardham Yatra / 13 more passengers died on Chardham Yatra 88 people died in 23 days

Rudraprayag's Chief Medical Officer Dr. BK Shukla said that on Thursday, 4 more passengers died in Kedarnath. The passengers who died include Nandu (65), resident, Nalanda Bihar, Haridwar Tiwari (62), Balrampur, Jhabra, Uttar Pradesh, Ramnarayan Tripathi (65), Vishweshwar Nagar, Alambagh Lucknow, UP and Hemraj Soni (61) resident of Rajasthan. So far 42 passengers have died in Kedarnath.

Chardham Yatra | The number of deaths due to heart attack of devotees who came in Chardham Yatra is increasing. A record thirteen died on Thursday. In just 23 days of the commencement of the yatra, 88 pilgrims have died.

Four died in Kedarnath

Four passengers died of heart attack in Yamunotri

Four more pilgrims died due to heart failure on the Yamunotri Yatra route. Sidderajan (57) resident of Jankichatti resident of Tamil Nadu, Dilip Paranpe (75) resident of Pune, Maharashtra, Ramchandra Shahu (67) son Vishwanath Prasad resident of 32/334 Chakdaud Nagar Naini, Naini, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh and Lal Chand Rathi (56) resident of Rajasthan Died of heart attack. 23 passengers who came on Yamunotri Yatra have died so far.

Three killed in Badrinath, two in Gangotri

On Thursday, three passengers died in Badrinath Dham and two in Gangotri. According to Badrinath police, one other passenger including GV Vijayakumar (62), resident of Karnataka and Kamala Bai (62) resident of Rajasthan died. In Dadhar, Gangotri Dham also two passengers died on Thursday.

Passengers should take care of these things

Travelers should travel intermittently by getting health check-up done in the camps opened on the Yatra route so that they do not get breathless.

The weather is constantly bad in the Dhams. Therefore, passengers should carry warm clothes in sufficient quantity.

When the oxygen level falls below 85, problems start to be felt. When this happens, take oxygen from health camps and hospitals. Travel to Kedarnath and Yamunotri only when you are completely fit.

Director General of Health Dr. Shailja Bhatt said, 13 passengers who came for Chardham Darshan on Thursday have died. One pilgrim has died in the hospital. While other pilgrims died in hotels and on foot. One passenger died due to drowning in Gangotri. Health services in Chardham have been strengthened as compared to earlier and a total of 169 doctors have been deployed for the Yatra.
