Delhi / Fire breaks out in Narela Industrial Area Delhi Fire Service on the spot

A fire broke out in a building in Delhi's Narela Industrial Area on Tuesday. 10 fire tenders are present at the spot to douse the fire. Delhi Police said that some people were injured in this accident. The injured have been taken to the hospital, the condition of all is said to be stable. Two people have died, who are being identified.

After the fire, there was panic among the people. People ran out of the building to save their lives but the fire was so severe that some people got burnt. Fire brigade teams are trying to douse the fire. A fire brigade official said that a fire was received in the factory at 9.35 am on Tuesday.

It is said that the fire broke out on the second and third floors of this three-storey factory. A day earlier, a fire broke out on the seventh floor of Mount Kailash Apartments in South Delhi district. Six fire tenders had handled the situation.

Death toll may increase

Delhi Fire Services (DFS) chief Atul Garg said that the fire control room received a call about a fire at a factory in Narela industrial area at 9.35 am. 10 fire tenders were sent to the fire site. Two to three people were rescued but some are feared trapped inside. On the other hand, Deputy Commissioner of Police (outer-north) Devesh Kumar Mahla said that the fire started in a slipper-making factory located on the second floor. Two people aged 30 to 35 years have died.
