UP News: A major accident took place in the capital Lucknow on Monday evening. A massive fire broke out in Canara Bank located behind Novelty Cinema of Hazratganj police station area. The fire was so terrible that the employees saved their lives by jumping from the building. At present, several fire brigade vehicles are busy extinguishing the fire at the spot. There is still information available about 50 people trapped inside the bank. Along with extinguishing the fire, the fire brigade team is also rescuing the employees.

Let us tell you that the Canara Bank branch in which this fire broke out is on Naval Kishore Road. A huge crowd has gathered at the spot. Screaming sounds are coming from inside the bank, due to which people are scared. About 50 people are trapped inside the bank. It is a challenge for the fire brigade team to successfully rescue the trapped people along with extinguishing the fire. The team is evacuating people by breaking the glass of the building. However, information as to how many people have been evacuated is not yet available.

The employees broke the glass and jumped out

According to the information, this branch of Canara Bank was on the first floor of the office building. After the bank closed in the evening, the employees were busy completing their work. Meanwhile, it is not known how the bank got filled with smoke. The employees were shocked to see the smoke filling up. Before he could understand anything, flames started coming out of the bank. When the employees couldn't think of anything, they broke the glass of the building and started leaving the gallery about one feet away. During this, many employees jumped down onto the road. Many employees remained standing in the gallery.

ADCP Manisha Singh, who reached the spot, said that information about fire was received in Canara Bank located on Naval Kishore Road, after which fire brigade vehicles and local police reached the spot. The fire was controlled in time by fire brigade vehicles. Also, all the people present inside were taken out safely. The cause of the fire is not yet clear. The fire brigade team is investigating it.

What did the bank employees say about the incident?

The employees who were rescued safely from the bank were told that the entire floor of the bank was filled with smoke. We were working in the back part of the office. Seeing the smoke filling, they ran to the front part. Then they broke its glass and came out. After coming out, the fire brigade team rescued us. There were 14 to 15 people present inside. Everyone was taken out safely through the back exit.
