Bhupesh Baghel's father passed away at the age of 89. Nand Kumar Baghel, father of former CM Bhupesh Baghel, was admitted in Shribalaji Hospital of the capital Raipur for the last 3 months. Medical Superintendent of Sribalaji Hospital, Dr. Deepak Jaiswal said that Nand Kumar Baghel was unwell for a long time and was very weak. He breathed his last this morning. The former CM is very emotional after his death.

Nand Kumar Baghel was in the hospital for several months

Let us tell you that Nand Kumar Baghel was suffering from a chronic disease related to brain and spine for many months. Along with this, he was also suffering from uncontrolled diabetes. Due to paralysis, a large part of his body was not functioning. He was on ventilator for a long time. Former CM Bhupesh Baghel had also met him during the elections. During this time he also took blessings from his father. Former CM Bhupesh Baghel himself had informed about his meeting by tweeting. However, Bhupesh Baghel's government had to face defeat in the assembly elections.

Nand Kumar has a long association with controversies

The life of Nand Kumar Baghel has also been full of controversies. Nand Kishore had also written a book named 'Don't kill Brahmin Kumar Ravana'. There was a huge controversy over this book also. He tried to prove through the book that Ram was wrong and killing Ravana was wrong. A case was registered against him regarding this book and he remained in jail for 24 days. Bhupesh Baghel himself had sent him to jail for giving a controversial statement regarding Ram.
