Chhattisgarh News: Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel has raised questions on the Central Government regarding Mahadev App. He is contesting from Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha seat of Chhattisgarh. In such a situation, when he was questioned about the scam in Mahadev App in Durg, he got angry. Asking questions to the Central Government, he said that this app is running in the entire country. In such a situation, who has taken how much money? How much money has the government taken from the double engine?

Amit Shah also targeted

Bhupesh Baghel also targeted Amit Shah. The Economic Offenses Wing has made Bhupesh Baghel the main beneficiary in the case of alleged betting done through Mahadev App. The allegation is that he took the maximum amount of money and in return promoted betting. At the same time, Bhupesh Baghel says that this app is currently running in the country and he has no role in the fraud in it. This matter was raised before the elections to tarnish his image and is now being dragged forcibly.

What is Mahadev App?

Mahadev Online Book Betting App is a syndicate of many websites and apps. Its headquarters is in UAE. It also has call centers in Sri Lanka and Nepal. The company franchises other apps at a profit ratio of 70:30. Mahadev App is accused of getting new users to illegal betting websites and embezzling money. Recently, in the month of September, ED, while investigating the Mahadev online lottery app case, conducted raids in many cities including Kolkata, Bhopal and Mumbai and froze and seized assets worth Rs 417 crore.

How did the scam happen?

Betting on Mahadev app started from Rs 500. In the beginning, even the losing person was shown as having won and he also got the money for winning. This increased the greed of the player and he used to invest huge amount in the game. After this he would lose. According to the report, this app had 30 centers in other states including Chhattisgarh. In one year, about 10 lakh people placed bets on this app. During this period, transactions worth Rs 5000 crore were done through the app.
