Chhattisgarh Nikay Chunav: The counting process for the Chhattisgarh municipal elections began at 9 AM today after the voting. The counting of postal ballots was conducted first, followed by the counting of votes from Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) at 9:30 AM. The results will determine the mayors and councilors of 10 municipal corporations, along with 49 municipal councils and 114 municipal panchayats, totaling 173 urban local bodies.

In Durg and Sukma districts, two candidates won unopposed in municipal by-elections, while Khushboo Agrawal was elected unopposed as president of Basna Nagar Panchayat.
