Olympic Medalists: The Haryana government has distributed prize money to all the players of the state who participated in the Paris Olympics. Medal winners have been given a big amount: Manu Bhaker has got five crores, Neeraj Chopra has got four crores and bronze medal winners have got two and a half crores each. The government has also honored 17 players who did not win medals, but who represented the country in the Olympics. These players have been given an amount of Rs 15 lakh.The Haryana government has transferred this amount to the accounts of a total of 25 players. Notably, Vinesh Phogat has been given Rs 4 crore in recognition of the silver medal. Sarabjot Singh, who won a bronze medal in shooting, and the bronze medalists of the hockey team have also received Rs 2.5 crore each. However, this time he had to be satisfied with silver.
