Big lapse in security Sunjwan attack / How did the terrorists cross the border even after tight security, all the borders are sealed in view of PM's visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the parish and the Sunjwan terror attack have again raised questions about security. Even after having such tight security in the city, this attack would be considered a big mistake. Of course the terrorists failed to carry out the fidayeen attack, but it should also be remembered that one ASI of CISF was martyred and 10 other jawans were injured.

Security personnel deployed everywhere in Samba district

It is also important that how the terrorists infiltrated across the border and reached here, while security personnel are deployed in every nook and corner of Samba district. After this attack, a red alert has been put in Jammu, Samba and Kathua and the BSF has put a high alert on the borders of the three districts.

Terrorists recently infiltrated from across the border

DGP Dilbag Singh said, these terrorists have recently infiltrated from across the border. Although BSF spokesperson says that we do not have any information that terrorists have infiltrated from across the border, yet the vigil has been increased. The top officers themselves are personally present on the borders of these three districts and are monitoring moment by moment.

The terrorists of the Sunjwan attack four years ago also came from across the border.

In February 2018, there was a terrorist attack on the army camp of Sunjwan. Four Jaish terrorists were killed in this attack. These terrorists also came from across the border. In such a situation, for the second time these terrorists had reached near the Sunjwan military camp. Had they entered, they could have carried out a major fidayeen attack.

SIA and NIA started investigation

NIA and SIA have also started the investigation of Sunjwan attack. The top officials of both visited the encounter site and gathered evidence for the investigation. Both have picked up the necessary samples for testing at their own level and sent them to the lab. However, the investigation of this attack is still officially with the police. It is possible that soon the investigation of the case may be handed over to the NIA or SIA.
