But after this, India made a strong comeback and defeated Pakistan in two consecutive sets and created history for India by winning the 10th gold medal in the Asian Games. Which Saurav Ghoshal won 3-0 and brought India back into the match. Now whichever team wins the next game will get the gold medal. It was a do or die match for both the countries. In this match, there was a contest between Abhay Singh and Noor Jama, which Abhay Singh won by 3-2.

If we talk about the recent medal tally, India had slipped to fifth place, lagging behind Uzbekistan on the 7th day. But with this 10th gold, India has again come to fourth place. India has so far won a total of 10 gold, 13 silver and 13 bronze. While the host China is at the top which has won 108 gold, 65 silver and 33 bronze medals. Whereas Japan with 28 and South Korea with 27 gold are at second and third place respectively.
