Ceasefire Violation / Indian Army retaliate after Subedar's martyrdom in Uri sector, 2 Pakistani soldiers killed

Apart from Uri, Pakistan also opened fire in Shahpur and Kearni sector of Poonch on Wednesday. Earlier on Sunday, there was a ceasefire violation by Pakistan on LoC in Nowshera sector.

Shooting incidents increased since 5 August 

Pakistan targets residential areas of common citizens with mortar. Even on the night of 21 and 22 December, the Pakistani Army violated ceasefire in Mendhar, Krishna Valley and Poonch. Following the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, firing incidents from Pakistan have increased.

On December 21, a ceasefire was violated in Rajouri district

For the past several days, Pakistan has been firing in the Tangdhar and Kanjalwar sectors along the Line of Control. On December 21, mortars were fired from Pakistan on LOC in Kerry Battal and Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district. A few days ago, Pakistan's bat team also opened fire in Sunderbani sector of Jammu and Kashmir, in which a soldier was martyred. At the same time, two Pakistani soldiers were killed in retaliation.
