Israel-Hezbollah War: Political turmoil has intensified in Iran after the death of Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli attack. The incident has not only dealt a major blow to Hezbollah in Lebanon, but has also raised serious concerns about Iran's security. After Nasrallah's death, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been moved to a safe place with tight security arrangements.

Alert regarding security in Iran

According to sources, the situation in Iran has become serious since the killing of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in an airstrike carried out by Israel in south Beirut on Friday. Iran is in constant touch with Hezbollah and other proxy organizations in Lebanon to decide its next strategy after the incident. Two regional officials informed that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has been shifted to an undisclosed safe place within the country under tight security.

Nasrallah killed in Israeli attack

The Israeli army claimed on Saturday that it killed Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in a precise airstrike in south Beirut on Friday. Nasrallah was holding a meeting with his colleagues at Hezbollah's headquarters during the attack. The Israeli army said that along with Nasrallah, Hezbollah's southern front chief commander Ali Karki and other senior commanders were also killed. Several high-rise buildings are also reported to have collapsed in the attack.

Heavy losses in Lebanon

The Lebanese Health Ministry has confirmed that at least six people were killed and 91 others were injured in the attack. Hezbollah has not yet issued any official statement on Nasrallah's death. Israel has continued air strikes against Hezbollah even after this attack, and in response Hezbollah fired dozens of rockets at Israel.

Growing tensions between Israel and Lebanon

The Israeli army has deployed additional reserve troops as tensions between Israel and Lebanon grow. The army said on Saturday that it is activating three battalions of reserve troops. Earlier in the week, two battalions were also trained for a possible ground attack in northern Israel. On Saturday morning, the Israeli army also carried out several airstrikes in southern Beirut and the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon.

Israel's major attacks and Lebanon's response

Israel has carried out massive airstrikes in and around Beirut for the past few days. Hezbollah also fired dozens of rockets on northern and central Israel as well as the Israeli-occupied West Bank on Saturday. Israeli airstrikes caused smoke to cover the southern suburbs of Beirut, increasing the number of displaced people in the capital. People are leaving their homes and migrating to shelters and safer places.

Growing challenges on Iran

Earlier, there were reports of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh being killed in Tehran, which highlighted the serious threat to Iran's security. Now after the death of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei has to be even more cautious about his security. This incident indicates further escalation of regional tensions and may pose major challenges to security and stability in West Asia in the coming days.

The growing confrontation between Israel and its opponents is not only limited to Lebanon and Israel, but it will also affect Iran and the entire Middle East. It will be important to see how Iran and Hezbollah deal with this situation in the coming days and handle security issues in the region.
