Fact finding team met the governor

Meanwhile, the fact finding team has now met West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose. He met the Governor and expressed his opinion on the Sandeshkhali issue. He said that we left to go to Sandeshkhali, but the policemen stopped us. After about one to one and a half hour, we were arrested and then released. The members of this committee said whatever has happened to us today. We have told that to the Governor. We also have the opinion to impose President's rule. When as a citizen we cannot go to a place where even Section 144 has not been implemented, there cannot be a more unfortunate situation than this.

Fact finding team received threat

The fact finding team, during its meeting with the Governor, said that his arrest was illegal. During this time he was also threatened, which he strongly opposed. Let us tell you that this team was led by former Chief Justice of Patna High Court Justice Narasimha Reddy and other members. The Governor has issued an order to immediately seek a report from the DGP on this matter. Earlier, the team led by former Chief Justice of Patna High Court L Narasimha Reddy, which was going to investigate the atrocities on women in Sandeshkhali district, was stopped from going to Sandeshkhali. After this, 6 members of the team were kept in Lal Bazar Police Headquarters, after which they were released after some time.
