Israel-Lebanon War: At least six people were killed and seven others injured in an airstrike by Israel in the Lebanese capital Beirut. The attack took place on Thursday morning in the Bachoura area of Beirut, which is located near the Lebanese Parliament. According to reports, a building was targeted, causing heavy damage. The attack is believed to be the closest attack so far to the headquarters of the Lebanese government, reflecting the growing tension between the two countries.

The reason behind the attack is linked to the events on Monday (September 30), when Iran fired about 200 missiles at Israel. Since then, Israel has started retaliatory action against Iran and its supporting groups. Israeli airstrikes continue in various areas of Lebanon, including the southern suburbs of Bachoura and Dahiyah.

Attack on southern suburbs

According to Lebanese security officials, three missiles also fell in the southern suburb of Dahiyah, which has remained sensitive since the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. After the missile fell, loud explosions were heard, which spread panic among the local people. Apart from this, the Israeli army carried out dozens of air strikes on the cities of southern Lebanon, which damaged many houses and buildings.

Ground conflict and Hezbollah's claim

After the missile attack by Iran, Israel announced on Wednesday that its army was carrying out ground action in southern Lebanon. Eight Israeli soldiers have died in this conflict. Hezbollah claimed that its fighters clashed with the Israeli army and destroyed three Israeli Merkava tanks with rockets near Maroun el Ras. This encounter points to the growing tension between Israel and Hezbollah, which may soon take an even more terrible form.

Prime Minister Netanyahu's message

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a condolence message, "We are at the peak of a difficult war against Iran's axis of evil, which wants to destroy us. But we will stand together and win this war." His statement reflects Israel's determination and its commitment to the conflict.

Increasing deaths in Lebanon

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, at least 46 people have died in Israeli air strikes in the southern and central parts of the country in the last 24 hours. This number may increase further in the coming days, as there are no signs of tension between Israel and Hezbollah subsiding.

Iran's position

Iran has made it clear after its missile attacks that its action is over. However, Iran has also warned that if Israel attacks further, it will get a strong response. On the other hand, Israel has clearly said that Iran will have to pay the price for its attack.

This attack points to a major conflict, in which relations between regional powers may deteriorate further. The situation in Lebanon is very delicate, and this tension may lead to even more dangerous consequences in the coming days.
