IPL 2021: IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad have replaced England opener Jason Roy as a replacement in place of all-rounder Mitchell Marsh. Last month, no team was interested in buying Roy in the IPL auction. Jason Roy recently performed well in ODIs and T20 series against India. Roy scored 115 runs in 3 matches of the ODI series at an average of 39. At the same time, in his T20 series, his bat yielded 144 runs in 5 matches at an average of 29. However, in both series, England had to face defeat at the hands of India.Significantly, Mitchell Marsh took the decision to withdraw from IPL 2021 because of his inability to remain in the Corona Protocol for a long time. He also informed his decision to BCCI and IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad. This is not the first time that Marsh has to withdraw his name from the IPL for some reason.Sunrisers Hyderabad will play their first match on 11 April this year.
