Bollywood | Director Prashant Neel's film KGF Chapter 2 (KGF 2) had exploded across the country. Yash starrer film had beaten many films, breaking all the records of earning. KGF 2 was praised by Bollywood celebs and enjoyed its success. After the film became a hit, people had told a lot of bad things to the directors of Bollywood. People used to say that only such films can be made in South Industry, such films will never be made in Bollywood. Now filmmaker Karan Johar has broken the silence on this matter and has told why such films are not made in Bollywood.

Karan Johar spoke about KGF 2

In an interview to Film Companion, Karan Johar said about KGF Chapter 2, 'When I read the reviews of KGF, I got into thinking. I thought if we had made this film, we would have been lynched. But now everyone here is celebrating the success of KGF. Although, I also liked that film very much but still I thought what would have happened if we did this?'

Producers of South get discount

Karan further says, 'Bollywood filmmakers do not get the discount that South filmmakers often get and they also celebrate its happiness. Well this is happening from both the sides, we are living a double existence, so that's why we have to stop. Had we made such films, it would have been banned here or we would have been lynched.
