West Bengal News: Mamata upset over Calcutta High Court's order to end OBC reservation. While addressing a public meeting in Dumdum Lok Sabha constituency, he clearly said that he does not accept this decision at all. He said that this decision will lead to constitutional disintegration. Targeting BJP, he said that these mischievous people get their work done through agencies.

Mamta said that even today I heard a judge passing an order, who is famous. The Prime Minister is also talking about how minorities will take away the reservation of tribals. How could this ever happen? This will lead to constitutional disintegration. Minorities can never touch tribal reservation. But these mischievous people (BJP) get their work done through agencies.

We will not obey BJP's orders

Mamta further said, 'They have passed an order today but I do not accept it. When 26 thousand people lost their jobs because of BJP, I had said that I will not accept it. Similarly, I am saying today, I do not accept today's orders. We will not accept BJP's orders. OBC reservation will continue. Imagine their audacity. This is a stigmatized chapter in the country. Mamta said that it was not implemented by me or in my government. It was implemented by Upen Biswas. The survey was conducted before implementing OBC reservation. Cases were registered in this regard earlier also but no result was found.

They are doing this just for vote politics.

Mamta said why don't they talk about policies in BJP ruled states? This (OBC reservation) was passed in the cabinet, assembly and there is also a court decision on this. They are playing with these things before the elections. First of all they hatched a conspiracy which has been exposed. His second conspiracy was of communal riots. Their third conspiracy is that can the PM ever say that minorities will usurp the reservation of tribals and OBCs? This cannot happen because it is a constitutional guarantee. Mamta said that they are doing this just for vote politics so that they can continue their corruption for 5 years.

OBC list made after 2010 canceled

In fact, the Calcutta High Court, taking a major decision on the OBC certificate, has canceled the OBC list made after 2010 in Bengal. The High Court said that now no new certificates will be issued. However, the court has made it clear in its order that the jobs of those who have got jobs on the basis of this list will not be affected. That means his job will remain intact. The bench of Justice Tapobrata Chakraborty and Justice Rajashekhar Manthar gave this decision.
