Manish Sisodia was granted bail

The Supreme Court heard Manish Sisodia's bail plea on 11 December 2024. Senior advocate Abhishek Singhvi had appealed for a change in Sisodia's bail conditions before a bench of Justice BR Gavai and Justice KV Vishwanathan. The court had granted bail to Sisodia in the cases related to the Delhi Excise Policy scam in August 2024 when it was felt that there was a possibility of speedy trial in the case and he could not be kept behind bars for an unlimited time.
