New Delhi : Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal has claimed that Deputy Chief Minister Sisodia was given an informal clean chit by the CBI but he will be arrested within a week or ten days under political pressure. Also, regarding the letter written by Anna Hazare, he said that they (BJP) are using Anna Hazare because people do not believe his allegations of liquor scam.

Earlier, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said that the bank locker has just been shown, a total of 70-80 thousand rupees were found in it. I have got clean chit. The agency did not find any misappropriation of a single penny. I have everyone's memo. This is CBI's clean chit to me. They also say that they will have to be put in jail, there is a lot of pressure. I said that if I had to stay in jail for 4 months for the country, it doesn't matter.

On the other hand, social activist Anna Hazare has written a letter to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal condemning the new excise policy of his government. He wrote that the Chief Minister is 'intoxicated with power'. Hazare has also said that the party born after causing damage to a historic movement is now on the path of other parties, which is painful. Hazare said that the new policy will encourage the sale and consumption of liquor and corruption will also increase.

Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena had last month recommended a CBI probe into the alleged irregularities in the implementation of Delhi's Excise Policy 2021-22. Hazare, referring to the complete liquor ban in his village Ralegan Siddhi in Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district, reminded his former colleague Kejriwal about his book 'Swaraj' which advocates a ban on alcohol.
