Under this scheme, every central employee will get Rs 10,000 from the government. That is, an advance of Rs 10,000 can be taken on behalf of the government employees on the occasion of the festival.

Lakhs of employees get this gift

Not only this, no interest will have to be paid on this money received from the government. Time till March 31 has been given to spend this money. Every year lakhs of employees are given this gift by the Ministry of Finance. This money being given to the employees is advance pre loaded. This money will already be registered in the salary account of Central Government employees, they only have to spend it.

Very easy terms of repayment of money

The most heartening thing is that the government employees will not have to pay any kind of interest for this advance money. The terms of repayment of this money are also very easy. You can return 10000 thousand rupees in easy installments of 1000 rupees, that too without interest. Every year money is given to the employees by the government under the Festival Advance Scheme.

Allocated five thousand crores

An allocation of four to five thousand crores is made under this scheme of the central government. Sources say that the bank charges of the advance scheme are also borne by the government. Employees can digitally spend this money received in advance. Earlier, central employees were getting facilities like LTC Cash Voucher Scheme. Under this scheme, the cash amount received by the employees in lieu of travel allowance will be circulated in the market.
