74 more newly infected have been found as compared to Thursday, while there has been an increase of 821 in active cases. On Thursday, 3303 cases of corona were reported and 39 patients died. In comparison, on Friday, the corona seems to be increasing on the basis of these three parameters. That is, the number of new cases, active cases and deaths in the country is increasing. Out of 60 new deaths, maximum 42 deaths are reported in Karnataka, 14 in Kerala and two deaths each in Delhi and Maharashtra. According to the ministry, more than 70 percent of the total deaths in the country have been caused by comorbidities ie being infected with corona along with other serious diseases.


According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry till 8 am on Friday, the total death toll in the country has so far increased to 5,23,753. There was an increase of 0.04 percent in active cases. The country's Kovid recovery rate is 98.74 percent. The total number of infected has increased to 4,30,72,176.

The daily infection or positivity rate in the country is 0.71 percent, indicating that it is under control. At the same time, the weekly infection rate is also 0.63 percent. So far 4,25,30,622 infected have defeated the epidemic in the country. The mortality rate is 1.22%. The work of vaccination and booster dose of children and adults is going on in the country. A total of 188.65 doses have been administered so far.
