CM Siddaramaiah News: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday questioned the action of the Enforcement Directorate. Actually, ED has registered a case against Siddaramaiah under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Regarding this, Siddaramaiah said that the provisions of PMLA do not apply in the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) case. Talking to the media, Siddaramaiah said that on what basis is this a case of money laundering. You might also feel the same. According to me, this does not constitute a case of money laundering. Because in exchange for the land that was taken, a plot was given. So how is this a case of money laundering.

Siddaramaiah refuses to resign

Let us tell you that on Monday, the Enforcement Directorate registered a case against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for alleged irregularities in the process of allotment of 14 plots to his wife by MUDA. ED has registered a case under PMLA against CM Siddaramaiah and others. In the MUDA case, Siddaramaiah has also refused to resign from his post. He said that I work according to the voice of my conscience. In such a situation, there is no need to resign. Meanwhile, on Monday itself, Siddaramaiah's wife also wrote a letter to MUDA.

What did Siddaramaiah's wife say?

Siddaramaiah's wife wrote a letter to MUDA and offered to give up the ownership of 14 plots. She said in her letter that nothing is more important than her husband's honor, reputation, dignity and mentality. The Chief Minister further said that when someone decides to give up something to avoid a controversy, how can it be a crime or a confession. He said that the leaders of the opposition party are Vishwaguru in lying. Siddaramaiah said that will this matter be closed after I resign. Unnecessarily they are demanding my resignation.
