Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted women across the country on Women's Day. He said that the government is continuously working for the empowerment of women. For the first time, during his program in Gujarat, the responsibility of his security will be completely in the hands of women police personnel, which is a historic initiative.

Womens Day PM Modi: On the occasion of International Women's Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted women across the country and reiterated the government's efforts towards women empowerment. Sharing a post on social media platform 'X', PM Modi said, "We salute our Nari Shakti on Women's Day. Our government has always worked to empower women, which is reflected in our schemes and programs."

As per his promise, PM Modi has today handed over his social media profiles to women who have made their distinctive identity in various fields. This step is a commendable effort to present the achievements of women on a global platform.

'Lakhpati Didi' program organized in Gujarat

On this special occasion of Women's Day, PM Modi will address the 'Lakhpati Didi' program in Navsari, Gujarat. Under this program, special schemes have been implemented to promote economic empowerment and self-reliance of women. This address of the Prime Minister will open the doors of new possibilities for women and encourage their entrepreneurial skills.

3,000 women police personnel will protect PM Modi

To make Women's Day even more special, Gujarat Police has taken a historic initiative. This time the entire responsibility of the security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been handed over to women police personnel. Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Singhvi informed that this is happening for the first time in the history of the country when only women police personnel have been deployed in the security of the Prime Minister.

This special security team includes 2,145 women constables, 61 inspectors, 197 PSIs, 19 DYSPs, 5 SPs and 1 DIG rank women officers. During the Prime Minister's visit, security from his helipad to the venue will be ensured by women police personnel only.

PM Modi's rally in Gujarat

As part of PM Modi's Women's Day programs, he will also visit Dadra-Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu before becoming a part of the 'Lakhpati Didi' program organized in Navsari, Gujarat. This initiative of Gujarat Police will give a new identity to women empowerment and it is a matter of pride for the country.
