Heavy Rains In Delhi / Schools will remain closed in Delhi tomorrow due to rain, Kejriwal announced

Monsoon has wreaked havoc in the country. It is raining continuously. Meanwhile, schools in the national capital Delhi have been ordered to be closed for one day. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced that all the schools in Delhi are being closed for one day on Monday keeping in view the torrential rains that have been happening for the last 2 days and warnings from the Meteorological Department.

Heavy Rains In Delhi: Monsoon has wreaked havoc in the country. It is raining continuously. Meanwhile, schools in the national capital Delhi have been ordered to be closed for one day. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced that all the schools in Delhi are being closed for one day on Monday keeping in view the torrential rains that have been happening for the last 2 days and warnings from the Meteorological Department.

Earlier, CM Kejriwal canceled Sunday leave of all government officials and directed them to stay on the field. He also said that Delhi cabinet minister and mayor Shelly Oberoi would inspect "problematic areas" of the city.

Actually, it is raining heavily in Delhi since Saturday. It has been told that it has been told by the Delhi Fire Service that there has been water logging at many places. 15 houses have collapsed and one death has been reported. The Meteorological Department (IMD) says that there is a possibility of heavy rains for the next 2-3 days.

Amit Shah spoke to the Lieutenant Governor

Delhi IMD chief Charan Singh says that it will rain in north-west India including Delhi this week. The rains will be more for the next three days and after that the intensity will reduce. During this, there will be some relief from the heat. The Meteorological Department says that Delhi has recorded 153 mm of rain in the last 24 hours till 8.30 am on Sunday, which is the highest in a single day in July since 1982. Due to the clash between Western Disturbance and Monsoon winds, it is raining intensely in Northwest India, which includes Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi and inquired about the situation in view of the incessant rains.
