Rahul Dravid will leave the post of head coach after T20 World Cup

After the T20 World Cup 2024, Rahul Dravid's tenure as head coach will end, after which the Indian team will get a new coach. For this, BCCI has already started the exercise. The process of seeking applications for this was started by BCCI on May 13, the last date of which was May 27, which has now passed. According to the reports so far, thousands of applications have been received. BCCI had invited applications for this through Google Form, so anyone could fill it. Those who are genuine applicants are there, some people have also applied under fake names. According to a report by Indian Express, names of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Amit Shah, former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni are also included among the applicants. Now everyone knows that these people are not going to apply, that is, all these are fake names.

Even before this, fake applicants had come forward

It is not that this has not happened with BCCI before. Even before this, when applications were invited for the post of head coach, a large number of fake applications were received and it took a lot of time for BCCI to filter them. Something similar can happen this time too. BCCI will first remove these fake names and then when the real list comes out, further process will be done. Although it is not yet known who are the real people who have expressed their desire to become the head coach of Team India, it is likely to be revealed soon.

Indian team's tour of Zimbabwe after T20 World Cup

After T20 World Cup 2024, Team India has to tour Zimbabwe. At that time, some big players of Team India may go on rest, not only this, the Indian team would have also got a new head coach by then. It is said that the current head coach Rahul Dravid has not expressed his desire for this responsibility again. That means they are not included in this race. But still information has been received that some big and legendary former players have applied. It is believed that this time also the Indian team will get an Indian head coach, there may be a foreign coach as well, but the possibility of this seems very less at the moment.
