Congress Foundation Day / Sonia-Priyanka Gandhi's Nagpur tour cancelled, was to attend Congress rally today

Congress Foundation Day: Today, on the 139th foundation day of Congress, there is a mega rally of Congress in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Senior Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge are gathering in this rally. Meanwhile, there is news that Sonia and Priyanka Gandhi's Nagpur tour has been cancelled. Both the leaders will not be present in this rally. Actually, earlier there was news of both the leaders attending the rally. But later due to some reason his tour was cancelled.

Congress is going to start its Lok Sabha election campaign from Nagpur, the stronghold of RSS. On the 139th foundation day of the party, she is starting the election campaign with the rally 'Hain Yaaraz Hum'. The meeting will start at Umred, Nagpur from 3 pm. Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, State Presidents of all Congress states, Chief Ministers of Congress ruled states will be present in this General Assembly.

About 10 lakh people will participate in the Maharally

This General Assembly will be addressed by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Maharashtra Congress Pradesh Nana Patol. It is being told that around 10 lakh people will participate in this mega rally of Congress. More than one lakh Congress workers from Maharashtra and surrounding states will come to listen to this Mahasabha. The theme and issues of the general elections are likely to be announced in the rally. After the mega rally, Congress President Kharge will hold a meeting with general secretaries and state in-charges, where the strategy for the Lok Sabha elections will be discussed.

Preparation to give strong message to BJP through rally

Regarding this mega rally of Congress, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan has said that he will give a strong reply to BJP on the ground of Sangh. The present BJP government has failed to solve all the issues including unemployment, inflation and farmer suicides and to provide relief to the people. Congress wants to give a strong message to the BJP led central government through this rally. This is the reason why Nagpur has been chosen for the rally.
