Bollywood Desk: The ongoing debate on nepotism after Sushant Singh Rajput's tragic demise has spilled on the music industry as well. Singer Sonu Nigam who is hailed as the finest has made a couple of videos where he has slammed the mafias operating the music industry. He directly called out Bhushan Kumar in a video. He said that he was operating a mafia in the industry that did not allow young talent to prosper. Sonu Nigam asked people to be kinder to the new artistes as they are also emotionally fragile. He warned Bhushan Kumar against playing underhand games with him saying that he would upload the #MeToo allegation made by Marina Kuwar on him on his channel.
Now, in retaliation, Divya Khosla Kumar has put up a video where she has spoken about the new talents launched by T-Series. She has given reference of people like Neha Kakkar, Arko, Himansh Kohli and Rakul Preet Singh in her film, Yaariyaan. Divya Khosla Kumar reminded him of how late Gulshan Kumar spotted Sonu Nigam in Delhi and made him a star in Mumbai. The cook of the house is also seen testifying it. She has slammed him saying that he was never grateful to them and ran to some other music company after the demise of late Gulshan Kumar.Earlier, Nigam threatened Kumar, saying, "Marina Kuwar yaad hai na? Woh kyun boli, woh kyun back out ki, mujhe nahi pata. Media ko pata hai. Mafia iss tarah function karta hai. Uska video mere paas pada hai. Ab agar tune mere se panga liya, toh main woh video main apne YouTube channel pe daal dunga (Remember Marina Kuwar? I don’t know why she spoke out and why she recanted her statement. But the media knows. This is how the mafia functions. I have her video. If you mess with me, I will release the video on my YouTube channel)." Surely, the matter does not seem to be ending soon!
