Kedarnath Dham: The doors of Kedarnath Dham, one of the four Dhams, opened today. The doors of the temple were opened at 6.20 am with full rituals. Although it is snowing heavily in Kedarnath, a large number of devotees have arrived for darshan. According to the information, more than 7 thousand devotees are present in the temple premises. The entire temple is decorated with flowers on the occasion of the opening of the doors. According to the information, about 20 quintals of flowers were used to decorate the temple. Earlier on Monday, Baba's doli was brought to Kedarnath from Ukhimath.

Recognized as the fifth Jyotirlinga

Situated at an altitude of 3 thousand 581 meters above sea level, this temple is also worshiped as the fifth Jyotirlinga. It is believed that it was here that Lord Shiva appeared in the form of a bull to the Pandavas. This grand temple was built by Jagatguru Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th and 9th centuries. The then Garhwal king made all arrangements for the construction of the temple.
