On Tuesday, the second day of the week, the stock market opened on the green mark. Both the indices of the stock market started with gains recovering from the sluggishness of the previous day. The 30-share Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange opened with a jump of 296 points at 56,701, while the Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange gained 85 points to start trading at 16,928.

On Tuesday, the second day of the week, the stock market opened on the green mark. Both the indices of the stock market started with gains recovering from the sluggishness of the previous day. The 30-share Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange opened with a jump of 296 points at 56,701, while the Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange gained 85 points to start trading at 16,928. Let us tell you that the market started on the red mark on Monday and continued till the end. After trading for the day, the Sensex lost 1747 points and closed at a low of 56,406. Whereas, the Nifty index slipped 531 points to close at 16,843.

These shares of Sensex rose

Three out of 30 Sensex stocks are in decline, while 27 are trading in gains. The gainers included Bajaj Finserv, Wipro, Airtel, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, Larsen & Toubro and HCL Tech. Similarly, Bajaj Finance, SBI, Titan, HDFC, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Bank, Tata Steel and ITC have also gained one per cent each. In contrast, ICICI Bank, Dr. Reddy's and PowerGrid's shares are seeing a decline.
