Indramani Tiwari, head of the peace committee, said that the yatra will be taken out in a peaceful manner in the area. All the people involved in it will have the tricolor in their hands. The journey will start from Kushal Chowk and end at Azad Chowk. Here it will reach there via B and C block. Police officers and policemen will also accompany the yatra. Apart from this, only the people proposed by the committee will be involved in the yatra. He expressed hope that the situation in the area would return to normal after the visit. The police is also likely to open the Kushal road containing the mosque.


After the relaxation, the clouds of tension started dissipating

Delhi Police has started relaxing the security arrangements in Jahangirpuri area from Saturday. When the clouds of tension started to dissipate, life also started getting back on track. Apart from Kushal Road, the movement of people has started on all other roads. Shops opened in the area and street vendors also started. However, the police kept an eye on the people coming here.


The police removed all the blockades on the road leading to Kushal Chowk via G block. Those passing by were not even interrogated. Vehicular movement has also started. At the same time, the road coming from Babu Jagjivan Hospital to Kushal Chowk via C block has also been removed. Apart from this, most of the shops opened in the C Block Market and street vendors were also seen at places. However, very few people came out of their homes to buy goods. Due to this, the shopkeepers and street vendors kept waiting for the customers throughout the day.


On the other hand, street vendors were seen selling goods in G Block. A large number of local residents bought vegetables and fruits from these hawkers. In the streets of C Block, along with the water vendors in the houses, sellers of goods were also seen. In this way, the situation appeared normal to some extent in the area on Saturday. It is expected that the situation will be normal as before Monday.


Police reduced from many roads including Kushal Chowk

On Saturday, the police force was reduced on Kushal Chowk and its adjoining roads as compared to the previous days. Apart from this, high officials of Delhi Police, who had been camping here for many days, were also absent. The police also opened the road from Kushal Chowk to C block for the general public, but the movement of vehicles has not been allowed on this road.


Leaving Kushal Chowk, policemen were seen relaxing on the streets. He sat here and there watching the situation. The policemen appeared very ready at Kushal Chowk. Here the Kushal road was kept completely sealed. Police was not allowing any person to go on this road. On the other hand, police officers were also rarely seen at Kushal Chowk. Special Commissioner of Police Deependra Pathak, District Deputy Commissioner of Police and other police officers did not appear on Saturday. In the afternoon some police officers came. After inspecting Kushal Chowk, he gave directions to the policemen and sat in the tent.


Media still banned

The police has not allowed media persons to go to the C block in Jahangirpuri. On Saturday, the road of C block has been opened for the common people, but media persons are not being allowed to go through this route. Due to this, media persons reached the C-block by doing a one kilometer long detour by dodging the police. Seeing the movement of common people from Kushal Chowk to C Block, media persons also wanted to use this route, but were stopped by the policemen present at the blockades here.


Officers of Muslim organization stopped

Officials of All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat arrived in Jahangirpuri on Saturday to meet the riot victims and those who came under the grip of encroachment removal action. During this, he expressed his desire to meet the victims, but the police did not allow him to go to the victims' area. During this, there was a long conversation between the police officers and them.


Naved Hamid, office-bearer of All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat and his four other members reached Kushal Chowk in Jahangirpuri at 1 pm on Saturday. He urged the police officers to meet the victims, but the police refused to meet him. The police said that he cannot go beyond Kushal Chowk.


During this, he argued with the police officers and said that they are deliberately not being allowed to meet the victims, while the situation is normal in the area. Despite this, the police officers increased the number of security personnel on both sides of the C block at the chowk. Sensing the stand of the police, the officers of the organization decided to return without meeting the victims. During this, he told the media that the police is not allowing the victims to be taken care of. Victims are troubled by many problems and they are not getting help. In the name of removing encroachment in the area, people have been demolished.

Atishi said - order to break the temple for illegal recovery

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has imposed an order on the BJP government at the Center to demolish the Neelkanth temple in Srinivaspuri. It has been said that the party will not allow bulldozers to run on the temple under any circumstances. Regarding this, AAP MLAs Atishi and Madanlal also participated in the protest. Atishi has said that the BJP has pasted a notice on the temple of Lord Neelkanth in Srinivaspuri for illegal recovery.


BJP is extorting from houses and shops all over Delhi through bulldozer politics. People are protesting to save the temple of Srinivasapuri. Everyone has made up their mind that bulldozers will not be allowed to run on this temple. The BJP is not concerned about the faith of the people, it only has to extort. MLA Madanlal said that there is an old Neelkanth temple in Srinivasa Puri. The people here are shocked to see a notice suddenly. After seeing the notice, people have made up their mind that now they will not allow that temple to be broken under any circumstances.


Khurana said – this is all a rumour.

State BJP spokesperson Harish Khurana said that Atishi had reached to lead the rumour. There is no point in destroying the temple. The central government is not going to break any temple.


VHP delegation reached Jahangirpuri

A delegation of Delhi Pradesh Vishwa Hindu Parishad also went to Jahangirpuri on Saturday. Many sadhus and saints were also included in this delegation. The members of the delegation met the family members of a Hindu arrested in connection with the riots at the Gurudwara here. After this they reached Kushal Chowk. The delegation talked to the family members of the arrested Hindu regarding the whole situation. During this, all the members of the delegation assured them of all possible help. After this the sages came to Sant Kushal Chowk. There he interacted with the police officers and opposed the arrest of innocent people of the Hindu community. The delegation included Sant Rajeshwaranand, Kanchangiri, Satish Das, Bhola Giri, Dhirendra Puri, Dayalu Maharaj etc.


People are fighting for their survival

TMC MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar says that the people of Jahangirpuri are struggling for their survival. There is a lot of fear among the people here till now after the violence. Far from getting out of the house, even after staying inside, they are not sleeping peacefully. He is fighting for his survival. The people of C block are imprisoned in the cage since the violence. They are not being allowed to come out.


According to MP Ghosh, who arrived with an all-women fact-finding team on Friday, the team found that people are in danger and living in fear. He complained of limited supply of even drinking water. The TMC team managed to enter Jahangirpuri despite the restrictions and spoke to several residents before being stopped by the police. It is alleged that the residents of C-Block have been taken captive.


They could not come out and were not even allowed to talk to us. TMC MP Saugata Roy said that the delegation managed to talk to around 200 people in Jahangirpuri. On April 24, he will submit a report to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. After that the party will take a decision. We are ready to help the people of Jahangirpuri.
